3DCP: Catalyst/ Final /Presentation Sheet
My final outcome was a cardboard of a simple and sleek hair salon, with a carefully thought minimalist interior. Customers will be pampered in large armchairs raised on platforms, whilst facing a wall lined with mirrors, reflecting the crisp cream interior.
Overall ,I was pleased with my final piece and started to see a significant difference in my cutting skills (using a Stanley knife or architectural model making)since the beginning of my foundation course. This enabled my model to look realistic and my handling of materials to produce a physical outcome that was engaging. From this task, I understood that materials and tools alone would not create an exciting model, instead it was more about fundamental attitudes, the acquired knowledge I gained from the process and ways I thought creatively to organise and see the whole process of work.
