3DCP: Individualisation/ Final Outcome
My final piece was a wooden completed on Google-Sketch Up, which was a new software I had been introduced to but didn't actually use prior to this. I wanted to experiment with digital 3D making and the tools which were available to me- as this would aid my projects in the future, in addition to my final major project. It enabled me to push my design into reality and reduce inaccuracy. Overall, it was more satisfying than viewing a 2D drawing and enabled me to navigate within the space to get an understanding of its purpose. It was a long process but the end product was pleasing It was a very powerful tool for me as a designer, as it gave me a realistic view of the actual project I was creating. Similar to professionals and architects I offered my customer a service dealing with the design of the building (wooden cabin) with a final outcome to offer him.
