3DCP: Reflective research/ Reading week


Morag Mysercough:
The English designer is best known for incorporating graphics,type and bold geometric patterns within architectural environments. Her use of brightly coloured textiles, tiles and furniture could be considered to be though-provoking and work together to trigger a cheerful mood to each distinct audience that will see and experience the design; a room filled with life.
Her most recent project was renovating the café inside the Bernie Grant Arts Centre, located in London. The result was certainly successful,visually stunning and playful.







Jean Louis Denoit           

This French desginer is the  modern master of French Interiors and has been featured on the ELLE Decor and AD 100 lists of the best designers in the world. His work often combines history with contemporary flourishes, which are equally layered to create stunning spaces. His choice of colours, patterns and texture have a rich elegance to them which are often tailored to to fit around his clients expectations and styles. He believes that interior design "is all about texture- nothing is truly plain, everything has depth- to give a sense of softness and layering."













                                                                     Jo Hamilton
Jo Hamilton is a master of colour,spaces and textures which has enabled her to be widely regarded as one of the UK's leading interior designers. She has been featured on high-end design talk shows and events such as 'What house?' and makes regular contributions to the media.




















 FinchattonThe creative directors, Jiin Kim Inoue and Manoj Patel, work together to create the most exceptional homes and interior around the world, with some of their work reaching to the Bahamas. The spaces created are dedicated the pushing the boundaries and creating intelligent designs, which excites the clientèle.








Abigail Ahern 

 Abigail is considered to be the Queen of the vintage movement, she is unafraid of experimenting with dark ,inky colour palettes and faux flowers. She often uses brown furniture to create a 21st- century feel. Although her career in interior design began in the States there is a sense of British humour. With her blog is one of the most influential in the UK possibly because of her cleverly curated collections, winning over design insiders and the press.
